The Rifton HTS Shower Commode can be configured in many ways to fit your Participants individual needs.
Each element of the HTS provides the best opportunity for hygiene and ease of use for the Carer. With a wide range of adjustment and varied support options, clients maintain positioning that promotes effective toileting,
The tilt-in-space feature and adjustable headrest make showering easier, and the seating system is also available on a Schuchman Hi Lo Base.
It can be used on or over a round front or elongated toilet, or as a free-standing commode, and can adjust to children as they grow. Will suit Clients of every size and support need.
Rifton HTS Hygiene and Toilet System Key Features:
The Rifton HTS can be placed directly on to most toilets (standard or elongated), or as a standalone commode.
Options range from the basic model with seat, back, base and armrests to the fully accessorized version.
Easy set up and removal - no tools required.
Hygienic and unique design of the seat pad opening (open to the rear) facilitates easy access for cleaning and hygiene while clients are still seated and relaxed.
The mobile base and commode pan allow for use in most places - not just the bathroom.
Tilt-In-Space forward and backward (up to 15 degrees) make it ideal for transfer, showering and hair washing.
Selection of bases, including the Schuchman Hi Lo Base, make the Rifton HTS adaptable to a wide range of needs.
Mounting bars for easy and secure attachment of the chair to toilet bases.
Three sizes available: Small, Medium and Large.

Seat and back pads are waterproof, cushioned and easily removed.
Hip guides tailor the chair to the size and shape of each client.
Deflectors keep caregiver and client clean during urination.
Abductor helps separate the knees and helps control leg muscles and prevents scissoring of legs.
Calfrest and ankle straps enhance comfort and sense of security while ankle straps secure feet for children when needed.
Footboard which bears weight (up to 68kg) for front loading transfers and flips back for sit-to-stand. It adjusts in two dimensions (height and knee angle)
125mm castors available which gives an extra 80mm height and assists with manoeuvrability, especially the large size.
